The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust has helped save the lives of so many animals injured by the greed of poaching hunters and traps still plaguing Kenya, Africa. Earlier this year, they came across this adorable elephant calf who was severely wounded by one of the awful poacher’s illegal snares.
At just about a year old, the 200 pound cutie was given immediate medical care with hopes that he would be able to survive in his natural habitat.
Despite being illegal, poaching remains an awful reality for cuties like this sweet boy. Visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust website to see how you can help end the cruelty once and for all.
Hopefully this calf will be able to find his way back to health and his home, but there are so many others still in need.
